Kickstarter Update: Leatherbound Editions are Complete

on Aug 12 2026

Sara made some pretty leatherbound editions.

No, this isn't a marketing post. I'm not trying to sell you these. In fact, there are only six of them in the world, and if you haven't already bought one, you can't.

Instead, I am simply showing off her work. She taught herself to do this. From scratch.

That's how it works around here. The legacy book business, from the 20th century, is so broken that we ended up having to make the decision to do everything ourselves. Layout. Publishing. Marketing. Kickstarters. Multicast audiobooks. Special editions. Swag.

Each time we start a new project, it takes embarrassingly long to get it done the first time. Because we not only have to do it, we have to learn the trade from scratch.

But it's the only way to get it done right.

I think that's important, because people are tired for being scammed and lied to on the internet. They're tired of being sold glittery Chinesium junk.

It's hard to reinvent entire industries in miniature. Even if you're smart. So I end up having to ask for patience, a lot of it. But this is the price I have to pay for getting it absolutely, positively, one hundred percent right.

Someday, this is will run like clockwork. Someday, we will have done it all before. Someday, we will finish our projects on time. Someday, I will produce a sequel. Someday, I will finish a series. Someday, I will be a real author.

Someday.

In the meantime, here's a little piece of the vast puzzle that is my life.

Something shiny.

Something done right.
