To my Kickstarter backers:
It's been a while. 8 months, 3 days, and 8 hours since this project first launched.
I counted.
Along the way, we had to fight an eight-month battle with stage four metastatic cancer, and to replace two sound engineers.
But projects don't get completed by magic, or the passage of time, or the power of good excuses. They get done because someone does them. Things get made because someone makes them. And my dream wasn't to raise a bunch of cash. It was to make something beautiful.
And so we are doing.
I can't give you a delivery date, but I owe it to you to tell you that you have not been forgotten, nor will we cut corners so that we can say we... technically... fulfilled a promise.
We are moving forward, knocking out chapters, spending the time it takes to get each sound just right, and working to the vision I started out with. Of something special. Of something done just right.
So, when the day arrives, you may experience a moment of confusion. What is this thing? Did I.... oh, yeah, that's right, I gave to that kickstarter way back when.
But the hope is that, when you open your gift, you will be able to understand where that time went.
In the meantime, I can only thank you for your patience and understanding.
